Losing 30 lbs, Regaining Control, and Creating Lasting Change
Struggling with weight goes far beyond appearance. It affects confidence, energy, emotional well-being, and the way you see yourself every single day.
And for many people, the most frustrating part is this: you know what to do, but something keeps pulling you back. That’s exactly where I found myself.
The Cycle I Couldn’t Break
For years, my weight fluctuated. I would go through periods of intense motivation. Strict diets, gym routines, discipline. And then, I would fall back into binge eating, cravings, and old habits. Especially sugar. It became my weakness, particularly when I was alone. And food also became a way to connect. With my partner, with my friends, with comfort, with relaxation.
At the time, I didn’t fully realize how much these patterns were affecting me. Until it started showing. My skin began breaking out badly from the sugar. Then my clothes started getting tighter. I went up two sizes. And with that came something even deeper. Low confidence, frustration, discomfort in my body.
Then I realized: The pain of staying the same became stronger than the comfort of my habits.
A Realization That Changed Everything
As a hypnotist and clinic owner, I had a moment that hit hard. “How can I expect to help others change, if I’m not fully aligned myself?” I felt like an imposter. But instead of ignoring it, I decided to face it.
Not with another diet. Not with more willpower.
But by taking accountability for my own change and using the tools I give to others.
Discovering What Actually Creates Change
This is where hypnosis becomes essential. Because here’s the truth: most people don’t realize that weight struggles are rarely about food. They’re about patterns. Habits. Emotional associations. Automatic behaviors.
Hypnosis works by accessing those subconscious patterns, the ones that drive cravings, self-sabotage, and inconsistency.
During hypnosis, you’re fully aware and in control but your mind becomes more receptive to change. That’s where real transformation begins.
Shifting the Patterns (Not Just the Habits)
Instead of forcing myself to “be disciplined,” I started subconsciously changing what felt natural to me.
Cravings began to decrease
Emotional eating lost its intensity
Movement started to feel enjoyable instead of forced
Healthy choices became easier, almost automatic
I wasn’t fighting myself anymore. I was working with my mind. And yes, you can use hypnosis on yourself. This is exactly why I teach it to my clients.
30 Pounds Lost, And Maintained
The changes didn’t just stay mental, they became physical.I lost 30 lbs, and kept it off. I went from a size 8 to a size 4. My skin cleared up. My clothes became loose again.
My energy has improved. And something even more important happened: I started feeling proud of myself.
People noticed. Compliments came from friends, family, even strangers. And that confidence? It reinforced everything. Because now, the reward isn’t food anymore. The reward is how I feel.
This time, it wasn’t based on restriction. It was based on alignment.
Why Hypnosis Works When Other Methods Don’t
Most weight loss approaches focus on control: what to eat, how much to exercise, what to avoid. But they don’t address the root cause:
Why you crave certain foods
Why motivation comes and goes
Why old habits keep returning
Hypnosis targets those patterns directly.
It helps you:
Reduce cravings naturally
Feel in control around food
Build consistency without forcing it
Strengthen confidence and self-image
It’s not about trying harder. It’s about changing what drives your behavior.
A New Relationship With Food and Yourself
One of the biggest shifts for me was this: Food stopped having power over me.
I could be around sugar, social events, or comfort situations, and still feel in control.
No guilt. No frustration. No “starting over on Monday.” Just balance.
If You’ve Been Feeling Stuck…
If you’ve tried everything. If you start strong but lose momentum. If part of you wants change, but another part pulls you back.
You’re not lacking discipline. You’re dealing with patterns.
And those patterns can change.
Your Next Step
That’s exactly what I help my clients do every day.
Not just lose weight. But retrain the mind so the results actually last.
If you’re ready to:
Feel in control around food
Stop the cycle of starting over
Build confidence in your body again
And create results that feel natural and sustainable
The first step is simple. Book a consultation and see if this approach is right for you. Because real change doesn’t come from forcing yourself. It comes from finally working with your mind instead of against it.
